The Spring 2015 Season of the LA ping pong league kicks-off Saturday, March 28 and will run through June 30.
It’s shaping up to be a great season with a whole bunch of new and returning players. Plus, we have several new teams in the youth and corporate divisions and after the regular season, we will have the first ever youth division playoffs!
While I’m sure everyone’s excited to get out there and play some table tennis, a few tips to help the league run smoothly:
Rules: Know the rules (no, there won’t be a quiz, but it’s still important)
Schedule: Check the schedule for your division. Show up 30 min. before the scheduled match time to warm-up (you want to play your best, right?)
Uniforms: Wear your team uniform (that way you’ll look all snazzy in your team photo for each match, plus it’s required, see #1).
Home team: Print out a blank team contest scoresheet and bring it to the match. Instructions for how to play the team contest are at the bottom (now how to win on the other hand, is up to you).
Home team captain:submit the results of the team contest within 24 hours (yes, even if your team loses). Be sure to take some action photos during the match in addition to the team photo.
Everyone: Play hard and have FUN!!! (this one is mandatory).
